Thailand Internship is now slowly kicking-off and CSI Philippines is now ready to bring back Filipino students to Thailand for international internship starting October 2022! The Thailand internship program offered by CSI Philippines is in partnership with its hotel and resort host partners in Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Koh Chang, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao, Pattaya, and Phang-nga amog other tourist destinations in Thailand.
Trainees who passed the screening standards and interview series will be given a guaranteed internship slot. During the internship program, Filipino trainees are provided with a first-hand exposure in various hotel departments like the Front Office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and the Kitchen. Trainees can also be assigned as hotel spa receptionists or sports and leisure attendants as may be needed. The Thailand internship program runs for 6 months and trainees are given allowance during their training period.
Prior to the pandemic, CSI Philippines was bringing an average of 500 students per semester to Thailand for the internship program. When international borders closed because of travel restrictions, the program was temporarily suspended for almost 2 years. The easing for border controls is giving once again an opportunity for Filipino students to train and share their knowledge abroad.
Interested students who want to participate in the Thailand internship program can initially submit their resume through email at csi@csiphilippines.com. After initial assessment, students will be required to attend the Info Session and Parent’s Orientation. Processing time normally takes a month or so.
For this year, CSI Philippines and its various hotel partners in Thailand are looking into October 2022 as the start of the training calendar. Students who will join the Thailand internship program will have the opportunity to train in international chain hotels and resorts, locally operated hotels and resorts, airport lounges, restaurants, and sports clubs among other.
